I have an ASUS Zenfone 2. The Z00D model (Specs). CyanogenMod 13 already exists for multiple other models:
The question is, am I able to port the CM ROMs from any of these devices? And how?
I'm getting sick of this ZenUI bullshit ROM. I'd really like if there was actual Android running on my phone. (Especially because CM 13 is Android Marshmallow, and every single Zenfone model only has Lollipop officially)

I guess the big question for me is if they make a CM ROM for your model phone?
My bad, I need to read better.

Do you have a custom recovery set up on it? Maybe SafeStrap or something?

Is one able to unlock the bootloader on the Z00D? I have done zero research before posting, so I have no idea. If one cannot unlock the bootloader, that would explain why there is no CM rom for the Z00D.

There is an official unlock tool for it, and it works. I have mine unlocked.
