Homebrew How do I access cheats for GBA roms? M3 Real

I have the M3 Real perfect bundle using the latest system software.

I placed my GBA roms in the proper folder and they all run just fine.

Problem is that I do not know how to access the cheat files. I downloaded the .cht files that correspond to each rom but I am not sure what to do with them.

I placed copies both in the SYSTEM and GBA folders. Unlike the NDS games there is no CHEATS tab beside CONFIG. Also, I cannot choose to turn on the cheat switch (if that is required).

I can access the save/love page in game (A+B+L+R), is there a different screen I need to access cheats?

Any clarification would be greatly appreciated.
