Hardware How big is the update from the unboxed console to latest updat

Hi,

I'm having very hard problems updating my console, it fails everytime after downloading for 20minutes, stating that it just failed and progress bar went to like 1% or so. So how big is the update? And is there yet any way to do it offline? Like getting update files and put them on SD card and such?

and FYI, my connection is 128kbps which gives me 15KBps of actual download speed.

1.1.0-1E = 16MB (but the 15MB European video is not downloaded anymore, so it's now only 1MB)
2.0.0-2 = I don't know, I updated directly to -3
2.1.0-3 = ~54MB (new e-shop channel)
2.1.0-4 = I don't know, I didn't updated yet (shouldn't be too big, no significant changes on the 3DS menu)

Never mind, I managed to get the damn update.
Do I have to register for nintendo club in order to be an "ambassedor" ?

One more thing, is there anything free on the eShop/DSiware that I can get? I didn't find any! :/

To the former, I think so, they just said you have to connect to wifi, but you probably have to connect to club Nintendo. For the latter, not yet.
