Can these missing triggers be emulated on the ps vita via adrenaline? also were the psone classics redesigned to compensate on the missing triggers?

When you run a PS1 game through Adrenaline, it hooks onto the Vita's official PS1 emulator. So when you press and hold the PS Button, then choose "Settings -> Open Official Settings", you will encounter the official PS1 emulator settings as if it was a legit PS1 game.
So from there, like any other legit PS1 game on the Vita, you can just map L2/R2/L3/R3 to the rear touch pad via the controller settings. So yes, you can 'emulate' the triggers and stick buttons as well.

I wasn't being literal, so sorry for not clarifying. There don't seem to be enough PSX games to really need L3/R3. Of course, there are some grips for the Vita that add L2/R2, but it depends if you have a phat or slim Vita (there are way more accessories for Slim).

Now I am sure Vita games is a different story...

They even sell the Hori grip that adds L2/R2/L3/R3. I mapped them in retroarch and made my life 100x easier.

New to the Adrenaline thing, isn't the ds3/ds4 controller setting in the Adrenaline config what you're looking for?

@Veho, Sounds and smells like bullshit. They don't give you cancer, and California should know that. I don't get why they stick labels that say "may or may not cause reproductive harm or cancer".

California has already banned those additives BTW.
