We all know the nintendo channel can stream demo,s to you're DS over wifi.
Why don't make a homebrew but then to stream full games to you're DS!
Like save some DS games on you're SD card of the wii.
Do Download mode on DS.
Then you're getting in a kind of special menu to select game and play them on DS.
It is like you're wii become a flashcard for you're DS.
It don't need much functions only inportant ones.

Functions.
Saving
A Easy GUI
Possible to return to game select menu when you want a other game
Online play but its gonna be hard

Ofcrouse loading times gonna be longer but no flashcard needed anymore since DSi update everything is this a good solution for it right.
Let me know What you think about it!

It doesn't fit the ram.. End of story..
There are other difficulties, but this will limit it for ever..

While I don't think his idea was correct... Doing something like that so you can easily distribute Pokemon from the roms would be awsome.

How're you supposed to save if you're streaming the roms?

Because downloading a 16-32mb file over DS wifi will take about two hours, that's why. The DS wifi is REALLY slow and only designed to transfer SMALL amounts of data, remember 56kbps modems?

The DS doesn't have enough RAM. The biggest DS Demo from the Nintendo Channel is 2MB. You can do demos, but that's really it.

This is misinformed. I've personally used DS Wifi + DSFTP to transfer games to my flashcart, and it took nowhere near 2 hours. Granted, it was still slow, and it'd be a bit of a wait, but the wifi can more than handle it.

Do you know how annoying the bold is?

Anyway, DS is too limited, it would be too long of a wait to download, and you don't even know if there's any Homebrew Dev's willing to create such a program.

Here's how the Nintendo Channel Demos work. DS and Wii pair and the Wii starts sending the demo data to the DS. The DS stores this in RAM then executes it once the Wii has finished sending the data.

Its not really streaming like you suggest. In order for that to happen the DS would have to be running a streaming app in the background to clear the RAM at each load point and get the Wii to send it more data. The problem is that DS Wi-Fi is slow as shit so you're load times would be HUGE and besides the DS CANNOT multi-task. The processor is way too slow/isn't built for it.
