Homebrew Help Restoring CFW

Welp.... Got banned.... And in a fit of panic I took my sd card out erased EVERY off of it, and wiped my system clean of all CIA's and games from the not to be mentioned shop. So now my question is, since I'm banned, how do I restore my CFW? if I power my system in hold Select it brings me to a menu, and I still have my back up saved to my computer, could some please help me with this? Is it possible? I'm so lost right now. I know it was a stupid thing to do, but I got scared.

You nuked everything. It's gone. Sorry. If you have an old backup of the entire SD card you can just drag and drop that. But if you deleted the /Nintendo 3ds folder you lost everything. Just restart. Put on another /arm9loaderhax.bin and reinstall all your games.

Anyway, try to recover the contents of the SD card with a recovery program. I believe it will only work if you haven't put anything back onto the SD card(some correct me if I'm wrong). I've never had to do this but I remember seeing someone mention this before.

Did you ever copy all of the files on your 3ds's SD card to your computer and not just a nand backup? If not, well you can't do much besides either using forensics tools like @BL4Z3D247 suggested, or just downloading Luma v7.0.5 (if you use a9lh which I am assuming.), then reinjecting FBI into H&S, seen in section 4 of the guide. Then installing freeShop and getting your games. You will have lost your saves, because you deleted the /Nintendo 3ds folder, where they would be stored.

I did use Luma, so should I basically just do the guide from the start? And wouldn't the ban prevent me from using freeshop? Since I can not connect to the Internet?

No, Nintendo did not ban users from accessing the eShop. They banned users from playing online, and technically yes you should. There is a new entry point out and it is recommended you updated. What I suggested was just the fastest way to get you back on your feet. Here is a link to help you update from a9lh if you want however.

Because the official homebrew discord bans you for saying freeshop. It's f*cking stupid and is the first time i got legitimately flustered at a group of people in my life. When i said XXXXshop they reported me for trying to bypass the rules, and i also got strikes for mentioning ciangel and tikshop. Hell even unbanning is controversial there. You cant mention how to make vc injects either.

Also op you're boned. You'll keep cfw, but all your games and saves are gone forever. You'll also stay banned. If you want to recover your stuff, i'd reccomend trying a recovery tool mentioned earlier. Thought I should say something relevant to the thread.

You can just copy all the files for your CFW and start from there. Then you just need to reinstall freeShop and your games/homebrews. Hacks are not removed by deleting them from the SD, both A9LH and B9S are installed directly onto the system itself.

With a CFW it does. CIAs will always work so long as your CFW can still boot, this including homebrew CIAs as well

Never mind haha! Thank you guys for all the help! I'm back in business! My 3ds is banned so I might as well bring all that stuff back to it. The system itself is banned not the NNID associated with it. So if you own a switch, no worries, the reps at Nintendo said they will not be touching switch accounts.
