ROM Hack Help patching for Pokemon Storm Silver

I followed the instructions that Drayano made but it will not work. I've tried many different things too, but when I try to open the xDelta GUI application, nothing happens. I have no clue what I'm doing wrong. I have the ROM (.nds), patch (.patch), xDelta GUI and xdelta in the same folder without anything else. Someone please help! Thanks

You have to use the same ROM as the rom hack author used. PM me ill help you
