Hacking Has a new patch come out for the 3DS just now?

They have to do extensive testing. Sometimes patching one hole can open others or cause problems with legit users.

Yeah, certainly don't want to patch something up, and then find out it prevents various other legit games from running.

I'm hoping this patch can hold out a week or so. Just ordered Theatrhythm Curtain Call and want to grab some DLC before it updates and I can't get into the eShop

There are two things out in the wild running exploits on their console on 4.5+ firmware, the SKY3DS and all its variant clones, and of course Ninjhax which Nintendo doesn't approve of either.

There is also that new Gateway 9.X exploit in the near future, so needless to say Nintendo has a lot on their plate. I have a feeling a new "stability" update will be out, but in the meantime they have a lot of testing to do as other users said.

2nd Edit: Yep no update for AUS or JAP New 3DS. Tried updating and nothing.

Or patch something, and open up a new vulnerability for a kernel exploit. That would be great for us, bad for them.

Hit the wireless switch on the side so it stays disabled. Once your 3DS picks up an update it's gonna keep popping up every time you turn it on. It wont let you do anything else once the update is fully downloaded until you update it.
