That's a good point, that goes back to the fact that different emulators do not function the same, or emulate at the same quality, nor are optimized the same way.

However, keep in mind that not every game has been fully tested on Canoe either... so we have no idea of any long term issues that might crop up, graphics issues, physics, etc, in levels, endings, etc.

Are the borders the ones that came on the SNES Mini, or did you happen to include the overlays from the retroarch site too?

Maybe I'm a victim to false memory, but wasn't there a way to see the game release dates within the SNES Classic menu? I mean, hakchi2 lets us add precise release dates for every game - is the only use for that really the "sort by release date" feature?

I think it is interesting if the other way around is possible and add new boarders to canoe?

Yeah, I know of that feature. For some reason I remember that actual release dates were readable within the SNES menu, though.

I guess it's just false memory.

with pressing "select" you can sort the games after name, game aktivity, release date, studio, 2 player games and last played.

the date what you insert in hakchi is used for the sorting by release date

I've heard the web installer transfers everything, you could always copy your games folder over. Savestates is questionable, the new version has a way of allocating space differently for save states.

Thanks it is just because I want to be up to date but i played about 12 hours Tecmo Super Bowl and I don't want to loose my savestate...
I think I stay on the current version till there are more expiriences with updating from an older version.

@KMFDManic would you care to include the BSNES Performance core for retro arch to see how it runs?

I'm not sure which rom and Emulator you are using?
