Gaming Had to give up my horse :(

Found a high stat wild horse, and had to give up spot, the first horse I ever caught, and I didn't want to do it but I finally did. It made me cry

i am other guy who didn't play the game.. please explain..
or do horses have levels which can't be leveled up and that horse had high stats for it's low level?
or do horses wear out like the weapons and it cracked?

horses are useless in this just you can take them with you when you warp so you have to ride them back to the stables each time. when you whistle to them if they're not nearby they won't come unlike OOT. completely useless.

nope they stay right where you leave them. i abandoned mine in setano ages ago it's still there!

So I can just leave my horse wherever the fuck I want, and either it will still be sitting there or I can just retrieve it from a Stable? That's helpful. But considering I make beelines to my destinations I have more use for a mountain goat or something.

A full set of climbing gear was the most useful thing to get in my BotW experience. Climbing tall mountains and paragliding down to my destination...

Horses slow the game down imo. It's too much of a pain in the ass having to return them to stables all the time, so I just walked/ran everywhere.

I don't use my horses at all. I just catch random horse i will find in wild and i will ride it, then abandon it.

You don't have to return them to the stables. You can only have one horse out at a time so just go to a stable, pull out a different horse, and the one that's already out gets put back in the stable automagically from wherever it is.

Left my horse and it shows up on the map.

Then went to another stable and it was there for pickup.

I dont save horse much since they tend to not listen and small gaps or uphills they wont go.
So i run everywhere or just pick up one on the go and ride it until it acts up then jump off and run.

can't climb SUPER steep but if you hit zfocus I think , you can force the horse to go somewhere it don't want to go. can do everything but climb. And horse combat is really powerful, it magnifies the blows and the risk of getting hit goes way down

I also agree the horses are pointless. Which, I guess, falls in line with every other Zelda game except Twilight Princess.
