    Hi,

I just did the sysnand backup succesfully, but it has also changed the name of my wii folder. I can't change it, and also moving the bin's to another place won't work. It says the name is too long. Anyone know how to fix this? Now I am unable to move the bin folders and can't access my wii folder. The wii folder got renamed to: wii! and some of the backup files I can't move from my SD card are: SEPROM.BIN, M╠CBK~5.PAR

M╠CBK~5.PAR weird symbols in file names are a result of SD data corruption. you have a defective card

Well, try formatting the card and reuse it. Skip backup of big files, if its new return it.

I decided to send it back and buy a new one. Now just a SD-card, not a micro one. Hopefully this one will work!

Noob question here. I successfully installed CBHC, now i Need to install the homebrew Launcher Channel, but holding HOME (as written in the guide) during the boot doesn't give me the menu that allows to launch the homebrew Launcher and then wup installer.
    What i'm doing wrong?

I need to fix that. You need to first autoboot to CFW with CBHC before you can install HBL channel. You'll know you're in CFW mode when your system version says 99.99.99. At that point you need to get into HBL so you can use WUP installer to install HBL channel. Use browserhax or if you set up HaxChi correctly you can tap the "Do not touch" icon while holding B to get into HBL

I have done all these things, but under the section of the guide where is explained how to set up CHBC You wrote "You can get to this menu any time in the future by holding "home" when you boot the Wii U." And googling i discovered that this is wrong: the Home Button must be pressed while the the Black CHBC loading screen is showed, not holded during the WiiU booting cause It doesn't work ;)
Now i correctly installed the homebrew Launcher Channel via wup installer from the homebrew Launcher loaded by CHBC

Ok I fixed that part. I mention it in two places in the guide. The main one I had right and the other one was wrong. Thanks for pointing it out to me

I know of no way to force certain game icons to appear.

Is it really necessary to use the Y-Cable?
I have USB 3.0 750 GB drive and it only has one usb cable. When I went to some IT store, they told me USB 3.0 doesnt need any external power, because it gets enough power (and well they don't have that kind of Y cable and I can't find any in my city)
