    Seems okay but...
I think you should inform users that redNAND is unstable in most cases, and shouldn't be used for your daily use. [It can corrupt and if you're playing games on it then goodbye saves but some will argue like "Shut up Felek! redNAND is bettter"]
And you also should cover installing Homebrew Launcher Channel for CBHC users since that's asked here too. [It needs to be installed via Browserhax in order to work]
Also additional stuff like that you shouldn't overwrite CBHC game, or just redirect them to FIX94's thread for installation so they can read & understand it before they begin to install it.

@Kafluke People should follow your guide but they're going the awful, unrecommended "wiiu.guide" route. So, good work. :)

Thanks for the input! All great stuff!

Edit: I do say multiple times in the guide that I don't recommend redNAND

Did a lot of updating. Almost finished. Anybody want to contribute by finishing the Cheats section?

i get error message: "failed to load haxchi.elf" but that .elf file is in BOTH haxchi folders... the one in SD:/root and the other in SD:/wiiu/apps/haxchi -- so what did i do wrong?

    (using Plailect & FlimFlam69 guide)

I don't know what steps you missed in someone else's guide. Try this one and see if you can narrow it down

I’m going to follow your guide, but I still have not decided which softmode should I choose. I wanted to install Haxchi + CBHC like you proposed, but you mentioned there “DO NOT download a DS game from NUS and use it for CBHC +HaxChi. This is a sure perma-brick. You MUST buy the game from eshop.” So that means that I can not download any game from other source and install it on the USB memory?
In the past we used normal Wii with the USB loader. Kids clicked on the USBLoader and have an access to all games on the pendrive. For the WiiU I would like to do something similar.
By the way, is it possible to create a folder in the main WiiU panel and put all games there?

That line only applies to persistant hack CBHC. Once that is up and working you can use WUP installer method to load any game you want to USB or internal memory.

You just turn on your Wii U and click the game to play. That's it.

Although illegitimate DS VC title will still kill whole purpose of Haxchi. [You still need to use browserhax]

You only need to buy one game from eshop so HaxChi can run correctly.

After you get HaxChi running you can go ahead and pull whatever you want from NUS and install and play.

"(...) DS VC" - Guys, please use understandable language :)

Now it is clear! Thank you very much!
Btw, What is NUS? NUS Downloader for PC? Do I have to take care for the region or other stuff ?

DS - Nintendo's past console aka. Nintendo DualScreen
    VC - Virtual Console
Search for Brain Age on eShop. [It's cheapest one out there]

There is nothing for free in the eShop that can be used?

There are lots of PC NUS downloaders. I recommend Wii U USB Helper. If you set up HaxChi or CBHC+HaxChi you can download and install titles from any region.

    No.

Also NUS means Nintendo Update Server. [Right?] You're grabbing games from Nintendo servers.

No. Nothing free. Don't set up HaxChi using a free download. You MUST by a legit DS game from eshop or you'll get into brick risk territory

After all, can I delete that game or whether it must stay permanent on the sysNAND ?

    The answer is still No.
You can delete Haxchi'd game but not CBHC'd game. [Coldboot Haxchi game can't be deleted unless you want to brick]
In other words, if you did Haxchi and you delete Haxchi'd DS VC game then no more Haxchi for you. [If you delete CBHC game then no Wii U for you]

Think of HaxChi like a mod chip for a PS2 or Xbox classic. You pay a little bit to get it set up and then the console uses the chip to boot a hack entry point every time you turn it on.

You wouldn't go back and uninstall a mod chip after would you?

If you don't pay the money and set up haxchi you can still play games and homebrew but you have to "re-hack" your Wii U by going into the browser manually on every boot.

HaxChi is an offline more permanant entry point. You just have to click Haxchi once on every boot. Unless you set up CBHC. It basically "clicks" HaxChi for you on boot.
