It isn't really "better". But the old Phat models are... Old... Google about ROD. Phat s are preferred to ROD cause they are Old. Even a slim can get ROD but much less then a phat. I would lookout for a slim with a Corona Motherboard. You can see this when you turn the console around where the connectors are. There is a sign over the HDMI Port.. Lookout for an voltage signing... I think it's 10.46A is Trinity... 9.6A is Corona. The less input the less heat etc....

Xenons and Zephyrs are the ones that get RROD
The 2005- late 2007/early 2008 360's
Falcons are pretty reliable and Jaspers almost have no RROD problems.

Slims do get RROD, just as easily as phatties.

As for telling Trinity and Corona apart, Trinity is the glossy black 360 with a 135w PSU and Corona is the one with the 115w PSU.
Corona is the most difficult to hack as it requires extra hardware.

"Falcons are pretty reliable"... Well "pretty" is properly the right word there... I've seen lots of Falcons and even Jaspers rodding... Like I said I would definitely prefer a slim...

There are straight black Trinity's as well they aren't all glossy...
But your right slims can rod for sure.(like I wrote) But don't even do it as often as Phats...

Some Corona require extra hardware not all... Well you see lots of choices

Upping the fans is always a good idea for every 360.

I've hacked a fuck ton of Falcons and Jaspers and the failure rates on those are minimal.
Excluding the beasts who mistreat their consoles by putting them in a dusty environment.

Most of the Coronas one gets from a store need extra hardware.
The first iterations of the Corona aren't around much anymore (most of them have already been hacked)

I've done a tons of Falcons and jaspers too but I'm with you. When they are handled well and cleaned they of cause are holding much longer. I just tell All my customers to buy a slim nowadays as an 360 doesn't cost anymore over here. I've some guys still using xenon and zeypheirs without trouble but that must be some kind of "special" Model wich is unbreakable.

Everyone should get a Trinity or Corona 360.
If their looking for the original one, then a Jasper or Kronos.

Xenons and Zephyrs I don't even touch anymore.
RGH on Zephyr is utter shit and Xenon is undoable.
Those consoles can best be used as doorstops.

Same here. What do you use in Falcons? Sigh? Had one here that was really unglitchable.. I'm doing this for years now but never had a box like this. Tried everything.. No chance... Was a Falcon out of Hell[emoji15] [emoji12]

Always used TX hardware.
RGH 2 on Falcons is iffy at best.
REALLY difficult to fine tune.

I used but since they are more likely dead you can't get any chips from em.. Just for a price the seller dreams of.

I found the squirt reloaded (the last one) really good for them but even that one couldn't crack it. Anyway. Gave fun dude. I'll get back to that DS...

360Ace is now (I believe) one of the best chips.
I tend to stay away from knockoffs and cheap ones.
Chances of them messing up is bigger then TX.

TX might have a shit PR, but their hardware used to be superb.

I used there stuff as long as you could get it without a hustle over here. Then imported them from the UK as they seem to have more in stock then in Germany. I was really active on their board as well as it was the time you sit there till 5 in the morning to get that stuff in ya Brain... [emoji12]

Really was a great "learning" Section in my life. Always was laughing bout them guys been p***** off cause of the Mods in there...

Yeah last thing I've seen from TX was that picture of tools they *should* be using to a reverse the One. Would be awesome if something comes along. I really thought a thousand times bout opening mine up and read out the NAND ... But as It still under warranty. Amazing also that Reliability of the one. As I own my living with this I can tell you that I had lots and lots of PS4 on my bench but in full honesty NONE XB One! Not really Good for me though but as a fanboy really great [emoji6] [emoji106]

Obviously, I'm still hacking me own but 99% of the people I hacked consoles for was purely for piracy.

Regarding Freestyle, can I just copy that folder onto any external HDD? Will it retain my accounts, saves, and achievements? What if I want a newer version of Freestyle? Is it easy to upgrade?
