i have these two 256 gb SSDs laying around that idk what to do with. i just got my xbox to join the delicious softmodded darkside but now the issue of memory comes up. So my rookie ass needs to know, whats it gonna take to put this SSD in my xbox? what exactly will it do, other than expand my memory?

SSD?
Then you'll need a IDE to SATA converter.
And hope the SSD is lockable or have a modchip in yer Xbox.

Honestly, I'd say don't do it.
It won't speed it up the loading much but it's a waste of a good SSD.

As already said you need a SATA>IDE bridge and it's not really worth it. You might get a small boost in things that do random reads but that's it.

You are better off using it in a laptop.
