Currently GenPlusGX allows for snapshots (or cover art) to be displayed through a small window outlined with a Megadrive cart. The image of the Megadrive cart is static, and part of the backdrop.
I was wondering if anyone with the know-how could modify the backdrop, getting rid of the Megadrive cart image, and allow the viewing window for cover art to be larger?
I ask because I'd much prefer vertical Genesis cover arts to the cartridge labels. I use covers for Snes9xGX and I favor vertical covers over horizontal. The vertical dimensions are 316x442.
Examples of both...
I wish they weren't so squatty/stretched, but I'm pretty sure that's the emulators doing.
