The 3rd one is getting hate for no reason. It was a good game.

Play and finished this back on release in 1998. Wasn't a bad game, yet didn't bother with the sequel.

If you liked the first (and love resident evil) than i can only tell you: get the fu***** 2. part. I think, that one was realy epic.
But dont even think about PE3 (3rd. Birthday). Feels like a 3rd-(haha obvios eh?)Person shooter in a horror envoirement.

PE2 was way, way better in my opinion, at least as far as the combat system goes.

A new PE announcement would probably be enough to get me to buy a PS4.

    I forgot
I played 1 sooooooo much as a kid, but none of my friends even knew the game existed. Every time I'd try telling them how cool it was they'd just be like "sounds like a bad Resident Evil game!" and I was like "well fuck you".

Now I have to play this again :(

Aaaaahhhhh, memories. I remember getting this on release day. I had to go to three stores to find it, they were all sold out. PE 2 was great also.

I played it last year. It was a good game for the time, but to be frank I didn't find the story all that interesting and the battle system was too repetitive, though at least it tries to do something different from the typical menu-based RPG battle system

I kind of forced myself to finish it, I guess I would have liked it back in the PS1 era but nowadays... meh

I'll try playing this game. I remember back in 1998 watching my brother play this game and being both bored and scared (Since he only played during the night) Those polygons make already hideous looking creatures look worst, I rather look at tomb raider or Final Fantasy 9 graphics. Sometimes I wish Square soft made N64 games, it might have looked a bit better, but then games wouldn't be as good quality for being multiple disc and having video recordings. I also think she should least appear in more games or some cameo. Is this game really good for RPG?

Man, out of all of my childhood memories, why this?

Honestly, I am a 22 year old man. When I was 9 years old, I remember the parasite eve demo video on the interactive sampler disc volume 8 for the ps1. It gave me chills back then, and still does now after reading this post. I honestly would have never remembered this game at all if it weren't for your post. Proves memories are embedded with us forever after all.

I remember this game being a good experience. Saggy eyed dogs and shit.

    Also 3rd birthday on psp

Which had a pretty scandalous shower scene at the time, if I recall correctly.
