Im on Windows 7First, stop using Avast if you got Windows 8 and up. You already got a anti-virus installed on your computer. Second, if you wish to use something, get malwarebytes.
Windows AV + Malwarebytes will protect you pretty good as long as you aren't on shitty sites with weird porn and pop ups. Avast is just dead in the water today and the massive fuck up with CCleaner makes my eyes raise if they themselves aren't making viruses.
Then installed windows security essentials and remove the resource hog called Avast.Im on Windows 7
