I see no problem with this.
I wouldn't even want to be able to contest mod decisions. IMO it should be possible at least to be informed about it, especially when it concerns you. Else it kinda gives a "we are the staff and therefore we do what we want when we want even if it's unfair" feel, and of course I wouldn't want to feel that GBATemp is Staline's USSR
Well most users I can think of have just spammed or been a non productive member of the community. Who do you have on your mind?
Spam I get. but what exactly do you mean by non-productive?
I feel like that kind of section would quickly get abused.
The Staff have unbanned members before, so it's possible. I personally trust whatever system they use now to determine the worthy.
Also, how would the banned users access it and post in it lol?
how about one of those google form things?

at the very least, I think mods should be requred to list reason for ban and proof of wrongdoing. That said, our mods are pretty good. between porky and costello, we aren't that bad off. that way no ban appeals are needed.
mods are persons like you and me.. usually they are older folks while the community is "younger" but they are still members like us.. they can be wrong and make shit like us
it should be our right to contest a decision, and even ask for a decision of another mod if we are sure that the previous mod was not "modding" correctly...
Being allowed to contest mod decisions would lead to chaos, ie "Why was hacks4sn banned OMG he was jice UBAN HIM !!!!11!1!1!11!11!1!1!!11one1" threads flooding the Temp. But IMO, we should at least the right of information.
hoo, i meant the person who got warned\banned... not the community
but yeah, it would be cool to know what happened to x person,
BUT you know, privacy, to protect the person and stop sticking your nose in stuff~~
