I don't think they will update, since you only broke the screen. If they fix it, I don't believe they will also update your firmware, there is no point in doing that.

You were right. They didn't touch the software. I got a call and they said they could fix it for $125
So I said they could just send It back. I don't have the right tools for replacing the top screen so I will let someone do It for me. He asked $95 which is much cheaper than what craptendo offered me.
