Long and short of it is, GC backups load fine when going straight through Nintendont, but when I try to load them through USB Loader GX, I get a Gamecube Main Path error message. The HDD is a WD Elements 500Gb. I'm fairly certain I've narrowed the problem down to the HDD as I have tried switching to my own 1TB WD My Passport Ultra and games load fine. The only real reason this is an issue is that I just wanted to make life a little easier for my sons so they don't have to read the game title through Nintendont and are a able to load games through an easier method.
The Wii has been updated using syscheck through Modmii. I have double checked paths are correct, and they should be as when I switch out the HDD, games load fine. I get the same problem when trying the 500Gb on my own Wii also.
The HDD has been changed from GPT to MBR and is formatted to FAT32 with 32kb cluster size.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
