Hacking game not showing up on ace3ds plus

I recently bought an ace3ds plus for the sole purpose of playing translated ds games. I patched ace attorney: miles edgeworth and fire emblem 12, but they don't appear on the flash card. Would anyone know any reasons why?

Does it have the extension .nds?
