I just bought a TV out RCA (not the component cables) plugs for my shiny new PSP 2000 TA088V2.

So I really don´t have any idea on how successfully this plugin do its magic.

It allows you to play any PSP /PSX/etc game through composite cables right to TV OUT. But how good it is?

Better than remotejoy ? (through usb, and lags horribly on fast-paced games)

Thanks!! =P

remotejoy lags? you sure you have the right settings?
and fusa is worse.
it causes dropped frames and runs at a low resolution.(displays only about 240x136)

Yes it does. IE running a heavy 2D-engine based game like Digimon World 2003.

I use remotejoy 0.19 >x64 PSP driver.

And also remotejoy.prx coming from the same package.

So it lags horribly?

Any other experiences you´d like to share ppl?

I hate FuSa. It's a horrible plug-in.

I'd recommend iRShell, though if you're outputting to the TV in composite, make sure you overclock the PSP from 266 to 333Mhz, or else you'll suffer slowdown.

Quite nice explanation!

iRShell... so far i´ve been reading it needs CFW.

Could you give me some steps on how to install iRShell ?

Is it THAT bad then?

I´ve been reading that you can switch to custom resolutions. 224x200 or something.

Full-screen will lag more, but lower res should appear just fine on older CRT TV´s?

edit: nevermind. I´ll stick with PSPiRShell.. as I am able to install CFW.

Thanks to everyone!

Doesn't remotejoy allow you to connect a tv out cable to your psp so you can play on the tv? If so I was not able to activate this at all. Does anybody have a program or know one that does this? I already have a cable I use to connect an ipod so I figured I can use the same thing to connect this to the tv as well.

I don't have a PSP 2000 unfortunately. Only have a 1000. I tried getting the remotejoy to work but when I plug the PSP in it says PSP Type A when it should be saying PSP Type B. It won't let me fix it. Windows 7 btw. Brand new laptop.

Just wanted to let you guys know that I tried FuSa on my TV and it was laggy, looked very pixelated, and the non-distorted resolution filled up about 1/3rd of the screen.

What about IrShell using a composite TV out cable? How good it is?

Given up on this honestly I would rather enjoy myself in a comfortable spot rather than be around the tv in order to play this. It's portable for a reason lol. If I wanted home entertainment I wouldve tried to get one.
