Hacking Fsgetmountsource works on one Wiiu, not the other

Hey GBATEMP community,

I've got a real headscratcher.

I've set up an SD card to load homebrew, for the life of me, could not get fsgetmountsource to mount.

After a few days of working on my USA Wii u, looked across my room at my friend's PAL Wii u and thought "why not".

It worked.

It's no good to us, as the US one is ours. Both are on newest firmware, using the same SD card.


Does anyone have any idea why this is the case? Absolutely lost!

What site are you using? loadiine.ovh works better than others for me.

Does both have the gamepad working? If one doesn't then that is your problem. (Gamepad is required for mii maker which is what homebrew uses).

Isn't it hilariously frustrating. Because I was thinking "noob didn't format the sd properly" but it works on one wiiu

Try blowing into the sd slot on the one that isn't working.

Like an old NES cartridge!
Had to really really blow in the sd slot
