    Ouch..

DVD drive belt maybe busted up?
It's usually an easy fix if they won't eject properly
Bit of sewing machine oil and it's usually good to go

I kinda was hoping on it to be on a lower dash ;p
Was planning on putting whatever I got for the Zephyr towards the fuelmoney for my trip to Italy.

The belt seems fine, I think the band is messed up.

    I had no problems whatsoever.

    Superb communications.

All right. Just wanted to leave a message of appreciation regarding this amazing service DinohScene offers.

He is incredibly quick and devoted to quality.

I sent in my Xbox, only to have him RGH it.
Got it back in a couple of days and he even reflashed the DVD drive to the latest firmware!

It did, however, come back with a small issue, which wasn't his fault. For some reason the Xbox would shut off or reboot after a while.
DinohScene told me I could send the Xbox back so he could take a look at it, which he did.

He sent it back in a day or 2 and everything is working fine for over a month now!

What it boils down to is; Quick service, high quality service, great communication and low prices.
    You just can't beat that!

    Again, thank you DinohScene!

It used to be Devin ;p
But as of now, Idk if he still flashed/extracts DVD keys from 360 drives.
It can't hurt to ask ;]

So since Devin appears to no longer do this service, is there anyone else in the US doing this? I'm still willing to send my drive to Europe but obviously it would be preferable to send it to someone in the US because of shipping costs.

I truly have a deep respect to anyone who performs this service--regardless of their continent of residence :)

If it's a phatty I could do it. I personally did my own not long ago no problems with it yet. If it's a slim I can't help you as it requires some soldering. I must warn you the only experience I have is my own personal 360 and that's it. If you would like I would be more then happy to do it. You just have to pay shipping to and from my residence. I need the experience and feedback too.

Also a quick question! I updated my dashboard when I inserted GTA V into my system. Will that affect the flashing process? It was on a really old dashboard but I was dumb enough to update it.. :(

No not at all it's actually better to update to latest dash before flash, although you might have missed an awesome JTAG opportunity.:(

Best is to update the box entirely if you want to flash it. (assuming it's below 13599)
Just hook it up to Live and let it update.
That way you wont run into any problems (also easier for Crimson, as he won't have to deal with sending it back due to you having an older firmware on the drive)

    Edit:
    JTAG is highly unlikely.
Unless you haven't used it since Summer '09.

Actually Dinoh I had a quick question for you too. Can't my Jasper power brick work with any Phatty or does he need to ship the power brick as well?

150w PSU is to weak to power a Falcon board.
    Let alone a Zephyr/Xenon.

If his 360 is older then 2008, he has to send his powerbrick along with it.
That's why it's far better to invest into a connectivity kit, if you plan on doing any flashing for members here.
