FAQ: Is my Question a FAQ?

Q: Is my Question a FAQ?
A: No, it is not. Unless it comes with an answer that is.

Q:What is a FAQ then?
A:This for example.

Wikipedia: Frequently asked questions are listed questions and answers, all supposed to be commonly asked in some context, and pertaining to a particular topic.

Thinking that you question might be asked frequently does not mean that you should ask it here.
If you think so you should in fact not post at all and instead read one of the other topics about it.
You can use the search to find them. Only if you don't find an answer ask it in the respective section. (Hint: No, it's not this one.)

Q:Why do you care?
A:Look above your first post: "[This post] can also be found in the Tutorial and Guides index and will temporarily be listed on our front page."

Q:Why should I care?
A:Most people that read the Guides section are looking for help themself.
They are not very likely to be able to help you.
If a Mod finds your thread it might be deleted, as is stated in this categories subtitle.
Plus it makes you look really stupid, don't you think.

@Moderators:
I suggest you rename the section to something that does not contain the strings "FAQ" or "Question".
GBAtemp is obviously to stupid to get the meaning of FAQ.
