Something before review

First, thanks for M3 Team send me the M3DS Real before public, what I have get is a retail version, I know lots of people want to know what have changed at the M3DS REAL, Let me show you some pictures and explain how special for the M3DS REAL, M3DS REAL is same as G6DS REAL, which using REAL technolgy developed by Gbalpha Company, and this time M3DS REAL with a SDHC Supported.

At China, M3DS REAL (M3DSR) have different package, maybe everone should wait for official announce, but let me told you, there will be thre more product together with M3DSR, Rumble pak, Ram and Rumble Pak, GBA Exp Pak, Rumble Pak is similar with the origianl one, Ram and Rumble Pak need patch at the slot 1 side, GBA Pak is for GBA and Browser use, support both cheat and softreset function

Its look similar to other brand? so I think you may care about the price, M3DSR will priceing same level with M3DSS and the slot 2 device also will be come with a low price, I think they want to have their own NDSL solution this time.

P.S.: The price information only for China. No information for USA/EUROPE/JAPAN/Hong Kong/Taiwan

It have a stick which is a movie service at China

We can see there will be M3DSR + Rumble Pack option at the box

Total package have M3DSR, Case, Card Reader, CD Driver, Manueal and a Rumble Pack

You can set cheat code, softreset, slow motion, slow motion level here

When you are the first time playing, Save file auto creat as 512k

Media Exp Mode, same as the slot 2 solution

You can download from Gbalpha or convert yourself, of course moonshell file also compatiable

PDA Function

May be your cellphone already have, but now you can use it at the NDSL

Dictionary

GBA

We need GBA Exp Card for GBA Function. but U not need to buy a new one if you already have M3/G6 slot 2 product, they can downward support M3/G6, because no GBA Exp Pak on my hand now, I will write another review when I get it

You need a slot 2 for Linage with NDS game

SDHC

I have no money for buying a SDHC, so I ask my freind do it for me

most of the old card reader cant read SDHC card, if you buy a Sandisk product, you can get a card reader free, if you are still using the card reader come from R4/M3DSS, I think you should may a new card reader.

4G SDHC, You can watch movie for a fews days non-stop

Its Crazy, its store too much game one time

You can play games with SDHC now, its different with Slot 2 M3 product, slot 2 M3 only support SDHC for movie/music

Passme function

No more microSD needed this time, Press B when you turn the DS on will ditrect go to NDS mode for slot 2, Press SELECT when DS on can go into GBA mode for Slot 2

Of course you can use passme function after entering M3DSR menu too

NDS

I have try 3 type of MicrSD card, one is come from my Nokia mobile no brand name 1G, one is Sandisk 1G, one is kingston made in Japan 2G, they all run Akumajou Dracula and Osu! Tatakae! Ouendan! PERFECT, no lag, no hang, We should now know M3DSR can use any microSD card without problem You can press START very often at Akumajou Dracula - Gallery Of Labyrinth now, but of course if your MicroSD really very poor qualitity, I think there may be a problem for Akumajou Dracula

Download Play

Official 100% Download Play, is that true this time?? Let me show you how the famous fail download Play Game Yoshi Touch & Go and Mario Hoops 3 on 3 now

You will see a DL-PLAY icon near the start button, choose this when you want to play the game have RSA problem, it will make your download play perfect, and now you can play without flashed NDSL

Of course, if the game no RSA problem, you can press start to start your download play like Mario Kart DS

Testing 0003 - Yoshi Touch & Go (US)?Success

Conclusion

I am so sorry that becaues I dont play Pokemon, so that I cant test with Wii and I know someone will test it later, so wait for others or let me find some instruction for Wii and I will do it for everybody later.

Due to no GBA Exp card this time, Gba testing will be next time

M3DSR suppport DLDI auto patch, I have test some, its work, I know ffsky@NDSBBS will test it these days, I will FWD his REVIEW later

Q & A (for Hong Kong user)

Q: M3DSR come with white case?
A: White case for Chinese version, Black case for English version

P.S: I know HK User love using Black case, so I have request for black case in Hong Kong, they are thinking abt. this, but at the first release M3DSR must be at white color

Q: When M3DSR public?
A: Official date for Chinese version is the end of Sep, so you may see it at shop tomorrow or next week

I wonder what it's like. The M3 Simply is nearly perfect. They could add MicroSDHC support, but other from that a new firmware can solve all problems.

My guess is the M3 Simply patches games which is why it does not work with Wii connectivity The M3Real will probably act like the G6Real doesn't patch at all.

So if your looking for a product that you don't have to patch and that has external memory and you like the G6/M3 brand then this is a new option. I love the company and am very happy with all their purchases so this may definitely be a card I'll consider picking up. By getting a card that doesn't require patching...well that means you don't have to wait for a software update to play the latest games...well thats the theory anyway.

Well, they have announced a 3 in 1 expansion pak. I wouldn't be suprised if they would add it with the M3 Real.

Huh? Did I miss something? Doesn't the G6 Real patch at all? So that means... No incompatible games? Is it even possible to run DS roms without patching? *searches for G6 Real review on GBAtemp to read more about this*

I'm guessing that it uses the RAM of the Slot-2 cart that is included with it. Hopefully it works using the M3 Lite too. I wouldn't have to patch my GBA roms anymore that way.
