Obligatory upvote for perennial Vita darling Persona 4 Golden. Also +1 for Dokuro and Ultimate Marvel vs Capcom 3. Killzone Mercenary gets an upvote too.

+1 for Zero Escape: Virtue's Last Reward on the condition that there's a recommendation to play 999 first.

Nominating/Adding: Spelunky [Action-Adventure?] - a great mix between a roguelike and a platformer/adventure game. I've never really been good at qualifying the difference between Adventure, Action-Adventure, and Platformer, personally, but you jump between and on things, climb ropes and ladders, avoid traps, and optionally shoot/bomb things.
