You could think of them as the "most important types." Eeveelutions can only be one of the primary types. The only one that doesn't currently have an Eeveelution is Dragon-type.

well explain what it is then? just "important types" is entirely subjective. there's no such subdivision on any of the wiki articles about pokemon types. just cause one (or a few) youtubers made something like that up doesn't mean its truth. youtube videos are full of nonsense.

So guys... I have some potential bad news.

A recent trailer () has been uploaded on the the japanese pokemon YT channel and featured various clips (and some unseen clips) including one of Eevee being scanned in the Dex, unfortunately, when Eevee was scanned in the dex, it was seen that only 8 empty pokeballs were show (the blank pokeballs indicate evolution) and Eevee has 8 evolutions, with Sylveon being the latest one.

And if we're going to go by the even-numbered gens logic, why not also say that since there were 3 in gen 1, 2 in gen 2, 2 in gen 4, and 1 in gen 6, that there will be 0 introduced in gen 8?

That pattern could also follow as 1 in Gen 8 tho, as the 0 could be put off XD
