Homebrew Duhow has released an unofficial version of MPlayer.

unsure, don't think so, guess it's best to stick with eh xmas edition

I think only the config files are changed in this version (for translation and gui rearrangement). The boot.dol seems to be the same as the original twiizer edition.

So for us english users we should probably just stick to MPlayer Wii and the CE by scip.
