All you did was desaturate all of the Pink skin files...

Dam !!! you figured it out... although I did say 'basically it's just the 'Pink' skin that's been turned 'Grey'' - I just didn't mention HOW I turned it Grey
So I'm guessing it does work then ???? - If so, then I'll try & 'colourise' the skin to make a 'Dark Blue' one for LUGiA

Any other colours wanted ?? - might as well try & create a whole package in one go

Thanks dude! If you would be kind enough to make a green one as well, I'd be really happy!

Edit: made my own version with greyscale buttons too. Credits go to CannonFoddr for the original of which I greyscaled the buttons too, and added some arrows to the sliders.

As requested - see first post for Blue & Green skins

PLEASE let me know if they work OK or not - I'd really like to know
(Hopefully I should be getting my DSTwo in 3-4 days)

    EDIT:
to Berthenk: I've had a look at your skin/theme... I'm not sure but it seems like your graphics are 24-bit colour depth, so they may not work right
(I think they need to be 16-bit colour depth) - if you need to convert them there is a way using GIMP - see this post on how i do it

Hahah, I guess I misunderstood. I thought you meant you created a grey skin. My bad. Anyway, I'll put these on my card and see how the work. I'm assuming if you didn't add or remove files it should work fine.

Also, I've been working on my own skin, and I noticed that the UI system is pretty much like Acekard R.P.G.'s system, so I wonder if it's possible to do Date as well. When I tried using the standard method (day_numbers.bmp, year_numbers.bmp, ini file settings) it didn't work as expected, it tried to use the clock numbers to generate the date and calendar. So I'm trying to think of a workaround for this, or some way to trick it into working right...

This is the upper screen so far as planned in photoshop:

Dude, that looks slick! I'll see if I can make something original, unlike my skin copied from CannonFoddr with some extra black and white filter. [IMG]

    Thanks! [IMG]

I've done some digging into the DSGAME.nds file to see what it's doing in terms of calendar and date based settings, and I've found it only loads the clock images, and not day and year. This is a shame, because now if I want to get a calendar working, I'm either gonna have to hack it, or wait for an update and hope they add the calendar features.

Also: The skins are all working, CannonFodr.

Arrgghhh... A gold/yellow one now !!!!!... why not just say all the colours you wanted & I'll get round to them as I can, instead of one post @ a time

As for installation... I can only guess 'cos I haven't got a card... but just unzip them & you should have a folder called 'grey'..'blue'... (whatever)

Then copy that folder into '/_dstwo/ui/' folder (you should have 'pink and 'silver' folder there already)

Put DSTwo into the DS, switch on & boot up
Then (& this I'm totally guessing now) press [start] > [skin] > & hopefully the you should see pink, silver, blue, etc etc > select the one to try & press [A] to select

EDIT: Ok 'Yellow' on first post now.....can't quite get a 'gold' effect just by 'colourising'

Edit 2: Oh I've just noticed something.. there's more graphics in '/_dstwo/plug/' and '._dstwo/patch/' folders that are 'pink'.
I'm guessing these are for the 'main menu' screen (the one that shows the Moonshell etc shortcuts) - so although the skins I've done make the menu popups etc a different colour - I'm guessing the shortcuts main screen will STILL be 'pink'

Can some1 confirm this please !!!

If so then I guess that 3 types of 'skins' will need to be made
    '/UI/' folder is for DS_Games
'/plug/' folder is for initial Start screen
'/patch/' folder is for the 'Ingame' play menu (the 4 save slots/ slowmo etc options)
