I need some of them, cause I'm kinda tired of using buttons and touchscreen these days.
The best DS games that make good use of the mic that I know to date are Band Hero or Jam Sessions, you can sing in the mic. Besides of them, I don't know any good use of the mic in any other games.

Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney? I just beat that game today. You have the option to use the microphone to say OBJECTION, and use it for blowing to find fingerprints during investigations.

I'd already beaten all 5 games in the series. The "blowing in the mic to find fingerprints" is a good feature in the first game, but I don't know why Capcom drop it in the 2nd and 3rd game.
Lost in Blue 2 (You have to mimic a monkey noisy at one stage)

LOL really? I'd better check it out :D

That is because the first 3 games are GBA port (Japanese exclusive). Case 1-5 (the one where DS features are introduced) is not on the original GBA game.

You use this two times, once for an enemy that has huge ears, other time is to blow out a candle.

Nintendogs
You use this to speak simple commands to your dog and call them.

The World Ends With You
I think a few pins use this, one of them are LIVE!

Bowser's Inside Story
Don't know, I never played.

Lost in Blue 2 (You have to mimic a monkey noisy at one stage)

Electroplankton
I forgot what the game was called but one of the instruments use it.

I figured I should help clarify it.

  • Jam with the Band - Microphone is used in a karaoke mode.
  • WarioWare Touched! - Microphone is used in a level that is microphone-centric, but is mostly blowing into the microphone.
  • Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney series - Microphone can be used to yell out "OBJECTION!" or "HOLD IT!" and those types of things.
  • Zekkyo Senshi Sakebrain - To play the game, you require 2-4 players and functional microphones. Basically, you yell at the DS in Japanese to make your character attack or transform into a Power Ranger-type character.
  • Nintendogs - You can talk to your dogs and teach them commands.

@salazarcosplay if they made a prequel, it would still be about current issues, cause it doesn't make sense to make it about stuff that happened 30 years ago that nobody cares about anymore
