(I accidentally hit the post button before I was ready, hence the incomplete title)

I currently have a SanDisk Ultra Fit 16GB USB 3.0 flash drive that works well, but I've run out of space on it and would like to expand. I was originally going to get a 128GB flash drive until I realized that I could get a 1TB external hard drive for about $15 more. My main concern is whether or not I will have to get a powered USB hub.

These are a few flash drives I'm looking at that I might get anyway, but they aren't listed on the compatibility list. If anyone has experience with any of these, I'd appreciate info you might have.

If you're using an original Wii, you probably wont need to get a powered hub; if you use a Wii U, a Y-Cable should be all you need.
If they're USB 2/3 compatible they're usually designed to run on lower power

Alright, thanks. I might get a flash drive anyway just for the simplicity and to save some money. I've added a list of some of the drives I'm looking at to my original post.

A HDD would last longer, since flash storage can be a bit battered if you use it a ton :P
