I'm glad to see you guys are still working on this. Typically when a project that aims to be released at 100% is started, they tend to die off which is disappointing because then since there haven't been any releases, it's as if it never existed. But happy to see updates still coming out. Keep up the great work guys.
Except for Romsstar, the team did kind of die off. He's the only original member still involved with the project, we've had to replace people as we went along.

Hello ladies and gents of the translation team!

To begin with, I really have to apologize. I've been following your ambitious project almost from the very beginning, but only as one of those lurkers seeking your results while offering no words of encouragement or appreciation. Shameful, i know. However, I have finally gotten around to getting an account on gbatemp just to make up for that, so here goes!
First off, I am amazed at the amount of time and effort you all are putting/have put into this translation. I can only imagine how hard it must be to do everything necessary to keep it rolling while managing all the other things life tends to throw at you, all without any financial compensation. Considering how long it has already taken, your endurance is even more remarkable! And even if you are mainly doing this as a challenge to yourselves, the fact that you're making it available to the public means that you're making a lot of people very happy.
Which brings me to point number two: don't underestimate the amount of attention and anticipation you're getting! I'm willing to bet that, aside from those who are already actively posting in this thread, there are a lot more out there like me who never really got around to registering and commenting, but are eagerly following your achievements in the project.
Why? Well, that's the third and perhaps most important part. I grew up with Digimon, the series accompanied me during a very difficult time of my childhood and I absolutely loved the original Digimon World. It still is easily one of my favorite games of all time and I was dismayed with the comparably lackluster performance of pretty much every follow-up title. When I saw the announcement for Re: Digitize, however, I was totally psyched! Something I had wanted for so long was finally coming: A true spiritual successor to the old 'train and fight alongside your digital pal' game. Needless to say, finding out that it wouldn't come out in English was saddening.
Then I came across your thread and just knowing that someone was working on a translation instantly got me hooked again, and ever since I've been checking in regularly because I can't wait to see all your hard work come to fruition! So to sum up a very long story:
You guys are making my childhood dreams come true. To me, you are heroes. I thank you sincerely for all your hard work and wish you the best of luck and as much fun as possible during the final stretch of your long, hard project. And keep in mind, I am definitely not the only one who feels like this!

Really guys, just...

Thank you. So very much!!
