Gaming Defective Wii?

One day when i was eating and I looked around and saw in my tv room (which was dark) the lights on my wii were lighting up (my wii was shut off which is in standby whenever its shut off) for about 2 or 3 minutes. It turned back to normal when I turned it on and shut it off. Has this happened to anyone yet??

Question about the Wii.. Is it wise to move the Wii with a disk inside while on? Will it scratch it up like the Xbox360 does?

once i turned off my wii while wii sports was on with my wiimote

the system was "off" but the green light was on, not to mention i could hear the disc still spinning. i had to pull the plug. when i reboot and tryed to start the game it said

"disc read error" and asked me to restart



it only happne once but im kinda worried
