Is there a known problem with this game when trying to load from disc. I have read about a few people with the same problem. After about 5 minutes of play it just crashes with the "Disc could not be read" msg.

I'm using
cIOS38 r14
4.0E
Neogamma r6 WBKL
also it was the PAL REVO release of Cursed Mountain

One thing i noticed was the drive showing lots of very loud activity just before it crashes. Anybody else have more luck

Use the latest version of your loader and if possible install cIOS 222, 223 37/36, maybe this helps that your game will work proper.

Possibly reburning the game will take care of the error too.

Last and best alternative IMHO would be using USB Loader CFG.

I personally use both loaders, GX and CFG and I encountered problems with GX which simply were not existent on CFG. This is why I recommend CFG over GX. CFG also uses the latest Hermes 222/ 223 mload which makes it easy to play MH 3...

You are playing from a disc, just before the error the drive gets loud and you ask what the problem is? If that's true, get good media instead of crap, if your burner can't burn 16x, get a new burner, and never burn slower than 4x, but better at 8x.

Taiyo Yuden G02 is my preferred choice and i dont think i've had a bad burn yet from the 500 odd discs ive burned so far. LG Burner too so i dont think i need a new burner. By the way i got it to work through Wiiflow.
Cheers anyway

Strange. I haven't encountered any problems using GX, but CFG is giving me problems

MH3 also worked fine in GX, just had to set CIOS to 223.

But hey, opinions are like assholes; everyone has one and they all stink.

Use "Generic Wii Patcher" to Remove ERROR 001 and ERROR 002, then burn the game. I don't know why, but it works for me
