Yes it is. Quickbms give me an error message about 4 bits can't be read and a file name error.Tthe cri tool opens the a command window then closes on me so I cant get it to start.

Other then that do you know how I can decompress the .gim file so I can edit? I can use neosist to convert to .png and edit then convert back to .gim. it worked with entaku no seito just fine.

I hate those files and haven't really found a good solid way to edit them. Mostly what you can do is view them. There is a few tools for that. Not many for editing them.

OK so for anyone who wants to take this part of the project up here was my plans so you can give it a go
1) use quickbms to unpack all.cpk file.
2) use this program to convert .kbd files to text http://www.richwhitehouse.com/index.php?content=inc_projects.php&filemirror=noesisv417.zip
3) edit and convert back to .kbd with same program
4) reinsert new files with quickbms or manual with hex editor etc
5) test

Well I've come to say goodbye to all of you. Work is taking me out of the country. I will be gone for close to two years. Back to Japan(no, no joke. It's not the first, nor will it be my last trip there.) I wanted to say thank you to jamrules, flame and EVERYONE that helped in this project. I never expected for it to reach this point. I truly had a great time. I have learned a lot and thanks to everyone I have grown. Everyone here was so nice and helpful. I leave with only one request, that someone finish this project. It may be possible to translate the story. Probably, the method specified by @kaikaiser can be used to insert the script. But ASM hacking will be needed (that I don't know how to do). The spacing of the dialogue is all messed up (for normal dialog).
In addition to the obvious, look at Angel's name too. They're not displaying correctly, see?
I just did this in PPSSPP memory editor. I'm sure you could put it into the patch too if you wanted, it just wouldn't look right.

I do see what you mean with text being "not in place". I'm guessing line breaks are manually inserted in the text, right?
Is there a "center" alignment flag not working for English letters, too?

Linebreaks are not the problem.
Neither is the text being centered. You can always insert spaces at the beginning of lines until it's centered, if you want it centered (not needed most of the time).
It's supposed to be variable-width font. Like see here:
