"Place it on your sdcard and edit your config to the path of the image."

I

have no idea how to do this

Edit: Nevermind, got in. How ever using an image just makes my background look all glitchy like a tv on a channel with bad signal. No idea what to do

Try switching to reiNAND it is about 2MB when installed to the system and offers the same features after some patching(RXtools you need patches in the first place). Even on the latest update fixed the N3DS screen issue. Thou come to think of it you will not be able to boot patch sysNAND but that is what minipasta is for. Also switching out your payload to one of the older ones helps a lot. I use the one without debug colors and look for my wifi light to blink. If you are using Crtboot as well switch to bootCRT instead it has a much higher boot rate. Setting the timeout to about 2000 helped out bunches.

Thank you.. I'll look into that. I would prefer to keep RXtools because I don't have to patch out of region games.

How can I install a custom theme to CTRBootManager's menu? I'd like to know if there's a guide on doing it. All the front page says is what filetype I should use and where to convert it. Nothing on where the bin goes or what image (size) to even convert.

How big do my images have to be? Do I need one image that covers the top *and* bottom screens? Or two images?
