By that I meant it may not be able to support a forum such as GBATemp. Nintendo knew exactly how powerful the 3DS is and how much it can take. The 3DS can't even load GBATemp without failing.
excuse me? I've used it plenty of times on my old 2ds...

It would probably be much easier to replace the essential miiverse functionality for games that rely on it for something or other Mario Maker and that Donkey Kong game. Mario Maker pretty much has such a replacement, it just needs to have a few things finished and then be ported from the 3DS to the Wii U.

all miiverse is on 3ds at least is another web browser that leads to a special version of the miiverse site, the only reason you can't access it in the normal 3ds browser is cause it doesn't send the right data for it to say ok and send the site, it's some weird crap they do

But the Miiverse app has different permissions than the browser as well. I'll use the Wii U for this example. You can't leave the Miiverse site, or the redirected GBATemp. If I press the Facebook button on an embedded YT video it won't do anything.

Same way you can't use USB on Homebrew Launcher with Mii Maker.

Yeah, so it will be a tough job but could work. Anyone know how to capture packets?
I know wireshark has the ability to.... but it isn't that user friendly.... Hell, Wire shark has the ability to capture EVERYTHING on your network, so I'd be careful. If you use it for the Wii U, make sure you create a closed network for you to test on.

  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
It was easy to bypass some of the restrictions, as one of the admins left a registry key in the administrative shares drive, which allowed me to get around the blocking of some sites.
