Hacking Corrupted memory stick, if i format it would i brick the psp?

suddenly some iso games wont load on my psp. i dont kniow what my sister did to it.
so i connected it to my pc, deleted one of the games, and i cant delette it. it keeps coming back so i delete it on the psp. its gone. but the memory is full even if i only have 1gb game in it!

how do i format the memory stick without not losing the iso-capability?

Formatting data on a memory stick does not brick your psp nor does it make you loose the ability to read ISO.

Format it via PSP for the better (somewhere in settings). And you can update your firmware too (6,60 pro-c2).

I really dont know how to update cfw since i wasnt the one who hacked this. but.. is there advatange on upgrading?

Few fixes, last one helps to load DLC properly.

You can leave it like that if you want no big deal about updating much.

Ok so i just formatted it now. and its working.

To bad your save data didn't go bad because them it could have been restored. Well good luck getting those saves.

You can use Recuva to restore deleted saves on your memory stick.

As along as you don't put anymore files on. If you do, you have a higher chance of non-recovery.
