Hardware Connect Wii to PC Monitor via HDMI

Hey guys,

I have a really old TV and will be getting a new PC monitor.

I've read online about connecting the Wii to a PC monitor but afaik there are 2 options:
- WII2HDMI (http://www.amazon.co.uk/Wii-HDMI-Co...=UTF8&qid=1449567401&sr=8-1&keywords=wii2hdmi)
- a box to convert composite to HDMI (http://www.amazon.co.uk/Portta-PETC...1449567445&sr=8-10&keywords=composite+to+hdmi)

As anyone tried either of the options. The first one is cheaper but if the 2nd one has better quality I wouldn't mind paying the extra money.

the second will have really bad picture because it converts 480i (RCA signal) to 1080p.
first one is quite fine. wii have component output (480p) so this thing will just only upscale the picture.
I own wii2hdmi, it's not bad

Wii2HDMI does a pretty good job, I recommend it.

Looks identical to Wii mode in Wii U. Also looks better than the component cables, even official ones somehow. Better colour.

Shame you're not from the UK. I have one I'm putting up for sale. Just did the whole switch to Vwii and Nintendont. Waaaaay nicer than having a whole other console always hooked up.

Another question I have is what device to choose.

There are countless variations on amazon. Some cost more others less.

Can you guys give me any suggestion on what to buy.

I'd just get the cheapest one, and if you don't like it then return it, rinse and repeat until you get one you like.
