can anyone help me build a pc that can play games like F.E.A.R CS COD4 and crysis for cheap and also a pc that can handle basic video editing and movie burning

Unless you have around 800-900$ You can't. 500$ isn't enough.
if you can help me bui8ld one for that much just do it because i am willing to pay up to 900

Not bad. Personally I would go for the P35 DS3L Motherboard though.

I didn't know which mobo to pick, went to newegg and sorted by reviews

The 8800GTs are ALL sold out...

Salvage the HDD and optical drive from the PC you have, should cost ~$850

Don't get that PC. It has bad parts that will fail very soon. Trust me. For a half decent PC go to Delloutlet.com they have great computers for the price.

Get the 8800GT instead of the 3850. Despite the 3850 looking better on paper, the 8800GT outperforms it in benchmarking tests, and costs about the same.

This. The HD 3850 is a good replacement and is significantly cheaper then the 8800 GT
