Considering you didn't bother to update your guide with regards to CIA encryption (you don't need to re-encrypt the CIA in order to install it), I think it's a safe bet to assume you don't actually know what you're doing here, and just cobbled together stuff from other threads.

Can you add a video of your custom layout?

Not yet, to my knowledge. I'm looking into it personally, but I don't have much knowledge about extracting images or layouts out of .bclyt files. If you want to take a look yourself, explore sleep_lz.bin with EveryFileExplorer. That's where the images are stored. Keep in mind, the 3DS sleep screen uses small images and tiling.

findstr' is not recognized as an internal or external command...

So, I noticed on the thread regarding the SSL disable that, although the current Luma versions are *able* to patch system titles, they don't by default unless you compile it yourself with a certain line commented out.

With this in mind, would Luma be able to patch the home menu safely if you compile your own Luma?

I can't rebuild my (decrypted) CIA. Do I need XORpads?

good thread but a few complaints:
    1. You are in general not a nice person. This seems to be your first ever thread and first ever messages posted. So congrats on being a new member. But that does not excuse you from the inevitable responsibility to be kind and compassionate to other people. Remember that even though you know you spent 5 hours making this, others don't understand completely what you were going through. So take suggestions like this one.
    2. If you are going to continue the sections besides just Home Menu CIA modding, do it. You have had 12 days and like @GerbilSoft said, you don't look like you know what you are doing.
    3. Seriously, where the fuck are the credits. You can't just put them in your signature and expect people to see it. I personally would have liked to see the credits on the home page in case I had any problems with one of the tools.

I am already expecting the "Go make your own thread :) " response you already gave GerbilSoft, so here are some words of encouragement:

MAKE YOUR THREAD BETTER SO IT FILLS THE PURPOSE INTENDED: SO WE DON'T HAVE TO SEARCH EVERYWHERE FOR INFORMATION

I'd be impressed if I found out that this is his first thread.
