Hardware Compare 3ds to Dsi XL Battery Life; Details Inside

When using Dsi games on a 3ds unit, in Non 3d Mode, does your 3DS get similar battery life to the DSi or DSi XL?

I'm really wondering if the poor battery is only on 3ds games (in and out of 3ds mode)

Would playing DSi games in a 3ds have similar or worse battery life to a DS?

Using WiFi, a normal DS cart on 3DS barely held up 2 hours for me.
The DSiXL lasts much longer than that even using WiFi functionalities.

That doesn't even sound correct...

The lowest it goes for the ds games are 5 hours.
