NO, it's broken. Using 3.2U with rev 14 is ok for most games except NSMB (pal), even trying to force NTSC does not work for me.

rev 15 gives a constant error #1 Unauthorized device detected on everything I tried.
same here got 4.0u softmod and installed the ios for the 4.1 update and the cios rev14. tried this to see if there was anything to some of the folks having success with the nsmb. went back to the rev14 so no harm done i guess.

I don't think so. First of all, neogamma isn't "his", it's based on gamma which is based on Gecko OS.
Secondly, just mentioning a few bugs doesn't make someone "very much competent". And editing a loader (what he did) is not even nearly as perplexing as making a cIOS.
But if he thinks he can do it, I'd like to see him try.

Neogamma is his. gamma isn't and gecko isn't but neogamma is.

Well this still doesn´t change the fact that almost every loader no matter if DVD or USB Loader is based on GeckoOS and Gamma Loader.
And as said writing a cIOS is something different even if he have much knowledge.

Please don't think due to it being Friday 13th that this will be a joke or a lie. Waninkoko and I discussed this about 10 minutes before this post and felt it was best for me to post this information as people will be skeptical due to it being Friday the 13th.

It seems to be true

Can we play NSMB on disc or not??? Need some confirmation, here...
ive heard yes and no
Then you're answer is of no use at all. Over 2,000 posts really? If half of them were as usefull as this one then you are a serious waste of bandwidth. I am on an NTSC Wii on SM 4.2 so I will answer with my own results when the NTSC-U version is released.

Over 200 for you... I could say the same about your posts usefulness (and it's spelling). Anyways as far as I know he's the one who made that really good guide for soft modding any wii http://gbatemp.net/index.php?showtopic=171901 and I'm sure has been much more helpful than your bullshit bashing, in probably MORE than half those posts of his

Sorry I know, all off topic but I had to say something to such a rude comment.
+1
ive helped literally hundreds of people mod their wii's
like i said

some people have said the have it running
others cant
it depends on your setup

it runs from USB for sure
k?

ok all the guinea pigs should have done their job by now so whats the word good or bad to install this?

If you use USB loaders, you don´t need to install it.

If you play via disc drive it fixes the DL DVD problems rev14 had. Means SSBB and MPT should work from DL DVD.

NSMB still wont work with it. Only via USB loader.
aight since i use mainly usb i won't install this.
mpt DL works for me on rev14 but prob cos i have a wiikey

I know this release may have some problems, but if I wanted to install cios rev 15 could I do it on 3.2 (usa w/ hbc) or do I need to be on 4.2 or something?

Also, rev 15 is the only way to play nsmb with neogamma without modchip right?

If you ripped SSBB using cIOS rev14, then you have to re-rip it with rev15.

Nah i ripped it ages ago with Rev9 and it worked with Rev9,10,12,13,13b not 14 as we know and same probs with 15, i will do some more testing, only tried so far with CoverFloader 1.3 r1006, my son has the original ssbb (ntsc) that he use to use Freeloader to boot it, back when he had 3.2e

It lacks the patch to disable libogc's IOS reload, screwing cboot2, meaning there's no way to install it unless a >200 cios was available already or (what I don't want to do!) ninty's IOS

Are you able to watch the full intro movie? And the very same rip does not crash on older cIOS? Do you use wifi or have it at least enabled?
