Hi, I'm testing what can be done with actual xploit and libwiiu, so i modified elf example and ported an emulator code that I had on my hdd from other ports.

Update:

Now compiled with modified loadiine 4 source code as a base.

So now I have playable speed and controls. :)

A little video of what it does:

Here is the download for hosting, source code included.

Please note that to launch it, youll need to launch LOADIINE KERNEL XPLOIT before this.

https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/72398546/loadiinecentipedewiiu.rar

On source code, only 'menu' folder for loadiine is included (The only thing i've modified). So if anyone wants to compile it, get loadiine 4 source code and replace 'menu' folder.

Wow amazing!
This is the dawn of a new era! :D

This is basically like a port of the emulator in which the Centipede game runs?
Like a version of Mame or something?

Sort of it. Is a pre-mame emulator, when this emulator was original coded, mame was a pacman arcade emulator. The good old days, when arcade emulation started...

Even if it's an ancient emulator, it is quite an impressive feat!
Porting an emulator to the Wii U is the beginning of the real Homebrew scene :)
Apps and such as ,elf are now about to become a reality!

All I gotta say is best of luck with this project!
If you need some help to get button inputs, you should take a look at the Pong code or the IOS code.
This site has both of them:
http://www.wj44.ml/

Perhaps you can get the required button IDs to make the emulator read the button inputs properly. :)

Can this be ported to more recent firmwares (5.4.0/5.5.0/5.5.1)? Or does it involve kernel etc.?

Very nice job on creating an emulator!

Is it possible to be ported over to 5.5.0/5.5.1 by creating an mp4 and making it open source?
That would be very cool and will help the homebrew scene.

Well he said that he modified the elf example. So, if there is an elf loader ported to 5.5.0/5.5.1 already, yes.

Awesome work!! Nice to see the homebrew scene get started. Maybe when the GX2 libraries get released we will start to see more and more. I for one am very excited to see what happens.
