Capcom & GREE To Release More "Social" Games

We already knew that Capcom were doing "social" Mega Man, RE, & Monster Hunter games but it seems like The Big C is really going at it! I guess these titles make a lot of cash.​

Here is a list of what they have to offer:​

Minna to Capcom All Stars, a title featuring characters from Ace Attorney, Dalkers Stalkers, Street Fighter, Resident Evil, Monster Hunter and many others. The characters as you can see in the picture will have a "super deformed" look that they & SNK adopted for those excellent Neo Geo Pocket Colour fighters...probably a light adventure/RPG title.

Minna to Houkago Soul Hunter, based on the Anime that I know nothing about. You players play school kids who aim to become the best "Soul Hunter" in the school and battling something called "Daimajin"...which I assume is some kind of Chuff Monster. This one the battle system is card orientated. This one is out in Japan next month, probably won't be out in the West.

Minna to Daikoukai Frontier, nothing was said about this but I assume it's about pirates and high seas. No idea if this is based on anything but the art is quite generic as usual.

Biohazard. V, we already knew about this. Basically it's the Mercenaries mode all "socialised" or something...so yeah you'll probably need to spend a lot to get somewhere. This one has been confirmed for release in the West on Android & iOS.

Monster Hunter: Massive Hunting, Super crap title! Another we knew about, a very light take on the MH formula, collect materials to create weapons & kill innocent monsters who are just trying to live their lives. This "social" title adds something called "friend hunting". Also confirmed for release in the West on Android & iOS.

Dead Rising: The Survival, Zero was said about this other than it's coming to the West.

All in all I'm sometimes glad that Gargoyles Quest/Demons Crest is ignored by Capcom.

Capcom Allstars sounds pretty good, I like the super deformed look. Like card games as well so if they can start taking that seriously after the mess that was the DS version of Capcom vs SNK, all the better.

Nope. CoD Black Ops is and there are many many titles that sold more at retail than Tetris.

While sales figures are 35 million, those figures include those sold when it was a pack in with the Gameboy and even then it is beaten by Wii Sports (70 million) & Super Mario Bros (40 million).

450 million of copies sold which makes it number one.

Basically EA had announced that the paid downloads of the game exceeded 100 million.

Oh plz. The Mario series has been around WAY before the casual gamers came in. Since it was literally one of the first video game franchises.
