ok so i closed wii backup manager and decided to manually put the wbfs on and it went on the usb but when i took the usb out the and put it back in the pc the wbfs file was gone

I just noticed that you are using a USB stick and not a HDD.
I would say that your USB stick is damaged or fake. Do you have anything else you could use to test?

If you are using WiiFlow you can put Wii games on a SD card and load through the SD card slot on the front of the Wii or WiiU(you did not say which you are using). If you are using USBLoaderGX Wii games have to be on a USB device but you could use a SD to USB adapter.

Just to make sure, is this a flash drive or an external hard drive? Flash drives and memory cards should only be bought from reputable sellers (no China and stay away from anything that sounds too cheap to be true), as they are often fake and report the wrong capacity so they can sell for higher prices. What happens in that case is that it appears to work fine until you try to put more data on it than the actual capacity, and then files will be corrupted or disappear completely as in your case. This sounds like it's your issue, but you can test the drive with H2testw to make sure.
You can read more about it here: https://sosfakeflash.wordpress.com/...standard-in-detecting-usb-counterfeit-drives/
Or just go ahead and download it here: http://www.softpedia.com/get/System/System-Miscellaneous/H2testw.shtml

The program sucks, I had this problem too, are you ripping from discs? Because when i was doing that alot of the time it was the discs fault for not reading properly. Also try copying them over one at a time, then closin ghte program and rinsing and repeating, that helped me
There is nothing wrong with Wii Backup Manager, it's what most people use and is generally what's recommended. I've never had any problems with it.
