Hacking Can we replace the flash drive or using the external drive on Wii now?

The original drive is so small...& it does not support SDHC(SD 2.0), so the maximun is 2GB + 512 MB, can I do something do it now?

hopefully they can fix that with a firmware update (SDHC support). in theory they could also support USB flash drives / USB HDD with firmware update also. But ninty's firmware coder's aren't know for their skills

Yes, but i believe, in all its almighty shitness hardware wise....the wii does not support SDHC

The Hardware is perfectly SDHC compatible.

Seeing as they now go up to 32 Gigs (Maybe 64, it's been awhile since I Newegg'd) That would be a very nice development ::strokes beard::

Nope... SDHC specifications go up to 32GB maximum... But who knows what will happen.. SD has a maximum of 1GB according to it's specifications... But there are SD Cards with up to 4GB
