Hardware Can the GCN controller pug into the WiiMote?

I know the 'classic controller' can plug into the wiimote and is quasi-wireless. But can the GCN controller do the same thing? If not, that's phekkin bogus.

Nope, the GCN controller can plug into the Wii directly but not in the WiiMote.

Sorry to inform you that it is indeed phekkin bogus. For the time being Cube controllers can only be plugged into the port on the top of the Wii (standing on its side of course) and nowhere else. I hope that they'll atleast let us use virtual console controllers down the line for GCN games, I really don't want wires going every which way once I get my Wii.

guess I'll get a couple Wavebirds, but this controller situation is retarded.

It is a good idea to have a couple of cube controllers around anyway.
Bomberman '93 can support 5 players using a combination of Wii and cube controllers.
There is the possiblity of upto 8 controllers being used in total, Micro Machines anyone?
