Hacking Can I use a R4i-SDHC Card on 3DS with latest firmware and custom firmware Luma3DS

Before I buy a flash card: I want to play ds games on my O3ds have the latest firmware with custom firmware luma3ds will it still work? Card I'm looking at is R4i-SDHC Card.

also is there anything I need to do to get it started or do I just pop it in and start?

Cards are sold blank. You have to visit the website of the manufacturer and download the kernel for your card model to be able to load the flashcard menu.

Thanks! One more question I was looking at a video for installing CIAs of 3ds games and it showed the guy opening up the 3ds and taking out the micro sd card in the system which I didn't even know the 3ds had. What I'm wondering is can I just use the sd card on the side of the 3ds because I just bought a bigger sd card off ebay a few hours ago and I'm gonna be pretty pissed if I wasted that money when I was suppose to get a micro sd instead. Please let me know if it matters!

That was a N3DS, or an O3DS with a microsd adapter

N3DS (and most DS flashcards, including every single model still made) use microSD, O3DS use full size
